Our story
Africa has long been called "the dark continent," and that framing still shapes how the world sees it.
A new wave of tools lets anyone make a game just by describing it. But those tools are built for, and marketed to, the West. Young Africans mostly play games made somewhere else, and rarely see their own streets, folklore, football or music in them.
African.gg is a home for African creators. Describe a game in your own words and turn it into something you can play and share: on your phone, in your language, rooted in where you come from.
